...seen quite a lot on the roads nowadays....

well, just wonders how's the maintenance cost like? manual?

roadtax? insurance? servicing? how much engine oil needed?

are the parts expensive? or comparable to cars like evos, scoobies...?

lastly, what's the fuel tank capacity? and how many km are u guys clocking on a stock condition ride?

i know probably some of these topic would already been posted...hope this would help clear my curiosity....

thanks in advance...

not an owner....just researching for future consideration....

thought this would be the best place to ask....

that's a useful site....stumble upon it in japanese, thanks to the babelfish thing..now i understand it... thanks man

the site mentioned of its consumption of roughly 9.8 to 10.6 km/l....but that's figure on paper...on real life?...how's ur consumption like?

by the way, how many liters of engine oil does the straight 6 needs? and izzit belt or chain-driven?

im using gtt manual

normally i pump 100 bucks worth of gasoline and manage to clock 350km +- distance ... normal drive ... different story altogether for wangan

arrbees using timing belt and not chain

maintenance and parts wise, i can say that it is slightly cheaper compared to toyota ... the only comparison i can make bkoz used to drive altezza before

go and get one dude ... u wont be regretting it ... sweet rumble or six-bangers will make u smile for the whole day

cheers

was on v6 previously.... am seriously be tempted to go for a straight six....

hmm thanks a lot for the helpful info guys.... :D

I think JahaX got the 350km+- coz he is always the wangan type one hahah, always jahat one...

Mine is not GTT, I am with the RB25DE non turbo- the most cekai around here..but I can clock around 500km for RM100 pumps..normal driving

This is the information I can provide you based on my experience,

roadtax close to RM900
insurance (depends on ur NCD + sum insured) for 0% NCD sum insure 140K approximately is 4K+

65 litre tank, usually i pump RM100, get about 370KM++ depends how u drive, U would hardly ever drive "slowly" in an "rb", u feel like ur torturing the car driving it slowly.

Maintenance, basic maintenance, engine oil (3K km - 5K km), transmission oil, depends how often u wanna change, (10k km - 20k km), timing belt, alternator belt, water pump, at your own discretion,
In terms of cash, it would be good if you could have an extra RM500 handy a month ( precautionary, not neccessarily used).

The above values are based on a stock gtt AT trans.

hey guys really appreciate all your prompt feedbacks...

Joethurr, Raja Rokan, that's some useful info indeed....

Lastly, how many liters of engine oil does the RB needs?

About 5 Litres... Ok, hope you have enough info to make that step forward to acquiring a GTT. See you soon
