PS Powersport tuning products

anybody interested with a used PS-powersport sub injector controller? sellin cheap.... for turbo or BOTs...
 
Last week I drove a super quick PS Powersport S15 with 270/270 Tomei Cam. Besides that it has, PS Rocker Arm Stopper, PS Spark Enegizer, PS Blow Off, 4 pcs of Sard 850cc inj while on dashboard there is a PS Fuel Enhancer II, PS Digital Boost Controller, PS Rev alert, PS Fuel Stabilizer and PS boost cut.

I took it from Bandar Sunway to Ampang to enjoy a peak traffic jam at Fed Highway . I thought it was a tough driving it in a jam esp. with a xtreme Tomei cam and super large Sard injectors, but it was like driving a super stock S15 while crawling on jam, while otw back to Sunway, the owner opted for Kesas Highway in order for me to feel it's super quick response, even though I was asked to floor it's acc pedal, I really scared of it's never ending torque and almost bang a few car's ass:rolleyes:, suddenly the S15 turns like a beast on the road. FYI, that kind of response is mainly delivered by PS digital boost controller II which is also widely used by most of our Malaysian drifter champion in local/international drift competition. According to the owner, the IHI turbine which is rated 380hp similar to a spec of a GT2871R good enough for his hobby at Sepang Sunday Track.

He is very proud that it has been 3 yrs plus now without any problem on engine and tuning. That is a recognition of PS Powersport Performance Creation.

I'm sharing sg here coz everyone is telling PS idling is shit on big injector, hot cam, blah2...but they are totally wrong...
I can't explain how PS stuff work in detail coz it is manufactured by the highest technology of electronics engineering in UK and I believe it has the highest standard of a quality which always ahead of most Japs automotive electronic devices. To prove it, just try one of our product today.:proud:

i got PS fuel flow stabilizer... found it at halfcut... anyone can give me the diagram / manual?

is it require proper installation / tuning by PS technical person? who should i looking for?

now our PS Fuel enhancer II(B) has boost cut features with xtra rm100 only.

:adore: To compare!!! should be a very long answer. Because every product is designed with a different goal in mind. From this topic here, we can understand that: PS-PowerSport was designed as a 'simple, low cost' with seperate hybrid-electronic gadgets to solve most tuning hassles. Most of its devices seem works fine to each tuning solutions by given it's price when comparing to change to stand-alone unit to most modern vehicles.

:burnout: My Myvi comes with very satisfy performance by fitting its Brisk spark Energizer and the Battery Power Stabler, really good for both engine torque and fuel consumption.:proud:

i'm Jai (aka Jai Bluebird)..i'm a professional/expert category drifter..have been entering drift competitions seriously since year 2007...can view my drift car spec in my website Jaimarketplace

my car..powered by Silvia S14 sr20det engine...estimated around 370rwhp at 1.5bar of boost. mainly, all mods to my car concentrates on engine response..suitable for small drift tracks in Malaysia..i've no dyno chart..no NAFSU to dyno my car because dyno chart won't give me anything..actual result in drifting and in drift competition that i enter tells me everything :biggrin:

i'm not a PS guru..i'm just a user..i've tried SAFC neo, SITC, HKS evc 5, PS spark energizer, PS boost controller, Power FC

my humble & constructive comparison..

SAFC vs PS fuel enhancer = quite same function, tricks the main ECU..both can't adj ignition, i presume both can alter ecu physical output signal in order to increase or reduce fuel by 50% max value. But....PS fuel enhancer too expensive..i really don't know why. Last time my engine blown big time while using safc..i ditch it and go for PFC. vs emanage..(i'll get myself an emanage anyday..)..emanage = superb cheap piggyback..yielded good results with my friends cars.totally worth every penny.

HKS EVC 5 vs PS Boost controller = i used HKS evc 5 for 1year..it hv many functions..really2 love the offset function (its called gain if u use Blitz dual SBC & greddy profec B spec 2, duty something i don't remember if use Apexi avcr)...if i set offset to 200% in hks evc..the wastegate will not open until it reach my preset boost level..super responsive and i like the punch when the wastegate opens at slightly close to 1.5bar. Recently, sold my hks evc, install ps boost controller (because it is highly recommended by my engine builder & tuner...i follow his decision because i trust him 110% with my engine that never failed me in competitions so far..helped my get 3rd place in recent MICCOS drift challenge..). My findings with PS Boost controller..
-at 1st, i find the level of easiness to set it is quite illogical..if comparing with the sophisticated hks evc 5. no need to run 3rd gear WOT to get the boost right..just dial in the potentiometer & wala..off i go..somehow..boost very stable at every gear (i'm boosting at 1.5bar)..response is much better than HKS evc..my assumption:
1. i think the solenoid design and the PID tuning for the solenoid control is superb..the solenoid response is very fast, my 38mm tial wastegate becomes restrictive..sold it..now using bigger one..solved problem.
2. at MARDI, serdang drift track, previously with EVC5..my entry speed is 110km/h... (starting from the same start line,same dry condition,same tire size/treadwear and i initiate drift at the same exact spot)..with PS boost controller..my entry speed increased to 130km/h. zyful can confirm this,he was there during this drift practice.

My comments:
-i love the PS boost controller..from my actual experience..excellent!! try it..u will know what i mean.
-my engine builder/tuner recommends PS boost controller & spark energizer. i also recommend these two..because it have significant function..to control boost accurately while increasing response/stability n etc...and to ensure optimum spark energy at WOT.
-for PS fuel enhancer & other PS products..my honest opinion as a consumer..too expensive,better get used safc..bang for the buck..n get quite similar gain
-or....there's no replacement for a standalone ecu..i'm using a PFC..really love it..gives me the gain and result that i wanted. never failed me...

last but not least..for standalone ECUs...a tip that i always give to my friend... "An ECU..is just as good as the tuner..always select the tuner that you are comfortable with based on your own research/study...and select the ECU that he is capable and competent in tuning for your engine calibration purposes...in Malaysia, there's a very high tendency that it might not work as per your expectation if u do it the other way around"

i have heard from a guy in sandakan wid a very fast 4age. and he also say the PS boost controller is good. how good it is i really dont know. but to-date if include jai's comment it is the 3rd person who gave a good comment on the boost controller.

:burnout: We aren’t PS engineers and won't know how to give you any answer that you required!. But from what I know is 'when pay for the single unit of the PS tuning parts, just like the PS COMPO set I bought this recently already gives what I want'. My conclusion is: When using PS tuning products, provided you have installed it properly, it is almost a ' Fix & Forget ' tuning product.

... i just give honest feedback. i did a TT of 12.8sec on 400m drag race wid street tires. that time use PS enhancer 2,blitz boost cut defencer, greddy speed cut defencer............. using E-Manage .......... !???
