Hi guys,

I have a 2011 Nissan Juke.
But now car is stranded in workshop for two months, nobody knows how to work on it.

What happened is while on Karak, my car does not respond to gas pedal all of the sudden and the rpm stays idle. But the engine can start, but no response to the gas pedal. When brought to workshop, the mechanic told me it is ECU-related problem.

I really appreciate if someone can direct me to non-Tan Chong (nissan specialist workshop) or give suggestion how to handle this problem?

Thank you

is the car a gray-import? If it is, then there is a possibility that Tan Chong wont accept the car....

I wonder if the TS will return to respond or ask more questions. I'm betting no.

My bet with a non-responsive throttle is probably some signal problem with the drive-by-wire. If modified with a DBW enhancer, remove that thing and try. If don't have one, then probably worth checking along those lines.

no fault code?
no fault code, even CEL is not on...
the guy that I send this car to said it is ECU related problem...but he can't do anything because of ECU and immobilizer thingy...so he basically give up and I need to find another workshop

If ECU, fault code should show, right?
Maybe need to send to those mod shop/tuners, if regular mechanic cannot handle.....:hmmmm:

its a recond car

actually the workshop guy also suggested to do ECU pairing/reset (I am sorry, not really good in car lingo)
but he said the price to do it is too high and no guarantee if it will work, so he did not proceed with it.

When trying to move, the car will move and then sputtered for a while before the gas pedal become non-responsive.

My apologies for doubting your authenticity.

Out of curiosity, have you tried troubleshooting yourself? Like disconnecting the battery overnight to try to "clear" the ECU?

A quick google landed me this > Nissan recalling 909k vehicles globally over accelerator issue

Is your car affected by this since it's seemingly the same year? If it is, prepare to pay a lot to have it repaired since it's not warrantied.

If its a recall issue.. and your car is DBW... pretty screwed.. if its ECU only problem, you can put a Haltech Elite 1500 in.. but if the no-accel is also related to TCU as well then you can sapu KY jelly and bend over.

Dear all

I am planning to replace all suspension/tyre related parts (except for spring & absorber), which have bushing, such as lower arm, lower link etc. The problem is, I dont have the knowledge of complete list of what parts that has bushing to estimate the price. Can someone share his knowledge what I can replace. Front and rear should be different right?

1) Lower link/tulang anjing
2) Lower arm
3) others?

Thanks in advance.
