pls help me with my handycam!!!

Guys,
any one of u experience this kind of problem b4?i have a sony handycam model as shown http://www.mediacollege.com/equipment/sony/camera/dcr-hc/dcrhc30e.html

the problem is i only used it few times only since the day i bought.Recently i was about to use it again.The problem is whenever i switch on and open up the lense,somehow it's kindda blur for a while and all i could see is only a blue screen.Why is this happening?Can sumone pls help me or at least let me know if i can take it for repair at trusted place.I really need to use it urgently.Thanks:regular_smile:

if have warranty.. send it back....it maybe the internal software/hardware problems... its not like we can install and uninstall software like on pc... its a handycam.. so basically.. nobody here may have the tools.. if you use a sony.. send it to a sony shop...

if the warranty just expired?
can it cause by the fungus that the lense could not see thru?is there any possibilities?

fungus is very hard to build up.. 20 years still maybe hard to see fungus.. most fungus is not blue in color.. heheh...

if the warranty expired.. just send back to sony then.. and prepare some cash..
