Petronas ron 95xtra

Just would like to discuss about this new fuel RON 95XTRA PETRONAS. As i observed this i have travelled 150km mileage takes half tank? I have never experienced this before as im driving a manual transmission and changing gears at 2.5rpm everytime. Is this normal? Im still gonna wait till the needle touches the red E line and check the mileage again. Apparently ESSO is giving me 500++km for one tank.

Please give me your suggestions and experiences in this pls

mileage shorter compare to others RON 95,
but can feel car performance increase a bit..
overall its still o.k with me..

Caltex u can get power,performance,and more mileage

YES i also had this feeling like my mileage was less with the new primax 95 extra and then i thought this is very odd because its meant for savings :stupid:
but instead i feel my car is more powerful compared to before when i was using the old primax 95 plus the slight pinging i had is completely gone this is more like a performance fuel rather than a cost saving fuel

Yes i totally agree with you all as 150km takes half tank is way way too much using xtra95. I thought it was my car that gives this issue but hearing from you guys just makes me feel that im not the only one facing this. Yes it does prevent from engine knocking and sluggish ride compared to other petrol company such as SHELL, BHP. I think its time to switch to either ESSO /CALTEX this time around since mileage is one of the primary concerns for us drivers.

It's true what imprezho was mentioned. Nowdays user want to have performance and more mileage. No matter what brand it is, as long it's not only focusing F1 additives but only deliver less mileage.

Guys, i have tried again using RM 10 bucks of primax 95xtra which only gives me 60km tops and i can actually feel really really sluggish ride. On the other hand i have no regrets for ESSO fuel 95 as it provides me mileage of rm10=85-90 kilometers tops. Octane booster might just help even further as i have tried before with a full tank of fuel, half bottle of octane booster that takes me to 520-530 kilometers without revving hard.

no wonder my car feels sluggish....using xtra95 cos thats the nearest to my hse...
shell is quite conjested though..sometimes gotta que up...

BHP also gud from what i heard. i only tried once & feel gud but unfortunately cannot keep up coz there is no bhp near my house.
