And Shell V-Power Racing is rated at which Octane? 98 or 97?

im using lucas octane booster with ron95....it claimed to boost up to ron98 wit proper mixture...so far using is ok la...

So it's a 3 Point booster la =)

Where do you bought it and it costing you how much?

Does your ride/engine sensitive to change of Octane? eg.Knocking when using RON95 but stop when using RON97 ~

Even with the octane booster we can up the RON but 95 is not pure than 97 right? Am I right to say that? I mean the fuel cleanliness.

Just try out a product called Dynotab....claim to have 10Point increasement in Octane number.....it turn out worked quite well on a RON 95 fuel,previously using just RON 95 will cause knocking and lack of power but after using this Octane Booster with RON 95 the difference is obvious,power was improved massively and little or no knocking is heard .....

No, Vpower whatever max RON rating is 97. You want higher than that go get it from Singapore. 98 and 99 both available.

Er... no. The additives is for extreme cleaning. It'll clean your fuel tank, line and injectors and whatever it comes in contact with in your engine. It's really good in cleaning, not higher RON.

this question has been going around every motorhead ever since.. but from what i heard octane boosters don't really help in improving the octane lvls of the fuel.. correct me if i am wrong.. any proof on dyno which shows thr is a change in power output when the fuel is added with octane booster?

Hello kawan, if you ahd bothered to read the earlier posts you'd have noticed that your answers are there.

Octane rating for VPower Racing in MALAYSIA = RON97
Main difference is the additives. Way better cleaning agents hence the price.

I've been a sceptic forever too. But I'll be getting my grubby paws on a octane booster and will be doing a review on its effectiveness.
