whoaaa.... very fast ne.....btw, hope there'll be somebody know where we can do re-map/re-chip this OBD2 ECU.....he...he...

i don't know in Malaysia bcz i am in NZ now bcz i tried to ask b4 they told me it is an international law to protect enviroment emission so no one will chip OBD2 at here even though they can do it

what do u means by emission-frenly??? at that time when they have OBD1 haven't got that rules to control the emission so since 97 the OBD2 came out the made that rules not allowed people to chip it... this is what i have been told cheers

yes, can rechip but a blank chip will cost yu us$1xx+ .

how we believe these???! any resources you can prove your enclosed statement?

that's cool....i only wish we have some local tuner here who are willing to explore this OBD2 rechipping and willing to do it

It can be done, but its not cheap, not easy and the most is not proven yet.

But, if u like to challange ur engineering skill, go head man... do it..

(Even the S300 olso using obd1 ecu)...

u r rite bro..but what choice do we have ? if wanna use OBD1 ECU aso not cheap..the conversion harness + OBD1 ecu would cost u around 1.5k aso.....

i think it just a matter of time maybe... when the obd2 ecu getting more in the scene i believe the price will going lower than what we have now...

But def alot cheaper than obd2 and those *all tech* EMS out there... and its proven...
