hurm.. after quite a few months.. lets update some... first, the car had been on a 2wd dyno (changed to 2wd gearbox for dyno)
results are quite satisfying with 1.77 bar yield 390whp and 447nm on 2wd
however, after 4wd it back, and gone back on the road for minor retune, discovered that i cant run that boost level due to 2 factors... 1 is G force that lean up my fuel when boosting especially fuel about half tank (run out of injector duty cycle/ ms on the road and cause knocking, only using evo 7 560cc injector though:stupid:) ... 2nd is that when we max out duty cycle of injector, it have higher tendency to jammed and also my ecu cant have rev limiter :stupid: so at the end, i can only run safest 1.3 bar on the road
nevermind, as long as it not break down anymore
another issue is that i do notice the car having excessive blow by gas as i can seen on the oil catch tank... but no oil just fumes.. but when engine running hard enough and hot enough, blow by gone... i saw from evo forum said that it is normal case for some evos after rebore and running larger clearance for forge piston... it allows to run harder as they claimed.. not sure is true or not but till now my engine stay strong and not losing any oil so i assume it is good
but yes it still has another issue now as the gearbox got grinding sound whenever i let go my pedal at higher gear at speed above 3k rpm... i suspect my gb final drive and not yet check.. and pray to god is not the rear differential make the sound.. therefore i have a spare evo 2 rs front gb otw for swap.. hoping everything are fine.. at the mean time... since the rear wheel always scrub against the fender until the fender paint cracked, i gila gila and do wide body conversion.. and now waiting for paint job.. let see gearbox come first or paint job come first.. will update soon.. stay tuned
