an intercooler, main purpose should be lower temp and improve flow, and be the right size for your turbocharger...

years back..i have difficulty deciding on which i/c to complement the holset turbo i use.
finally settle with Evo 7 i/c. i choose evo7 i/c for weight saving, proven design,reliability and it's made by Koyo. (koyo... reputable in making radiator and i/c).
using oversize i/c surely give extra weight. with such power at 1.8bar, evo7 i/c did the cooling job well. balance between weight,cooling effieciency&reliability.

boost up to 1.8bar ..no problem

yup..currently im using infinite intercooler evo size on my gsr..no lagging la.i can feel throttle responce much better compared to vr4 intercooler.but this intercooler is a bit heavy.

nothing much mods, juz upgrade to evo injectors,2.0 metal gasket,td05hl and happily boosting around 1.25 bar for daily drive.oh ya...aerospeed adjustable cam and my secrets cams.boost start kick in around 3k.
