Leaking tie Rod

just noticed my PS fluid are low and found out that my tie rod have leaks. what are possible solution?

p/s: i've replaced whole steering rack less than 2y ago




another question from pic below... do i need to replace bush? (outer tie rod)

You said your PS level was low. You might want to open up the boot to see if the PS rack is leaking or not. Looks like in the picture it might be leaking. There is grease on the inner side of the tie rod but it won't usually wet the rod like your picture. The outer tie rod looks like it needs to be changed.

Dear all,

i've just change my timing belt this morning and by the time i drive my car back, i heard some sound air leaking sound coming out from the engine bay. so, when i opened up the bonnet cover, the sound even more clear.

i've send back the car to my mechanic and he said it's just air leaking and he didn't touch anything on that part while replacing the timing belt. he ask me to try driving it first and see if the petrol consumption will go up or not.

i'm just a bit affraid it...
