My GT of 2 mths and mileage 2000+ was towed to EON as the engine could not ignite. It was able to kick slowly but just could not ignite. They said it was the 1st they had encountered. Initial checking confirm not the battery and alarm. Anyone with this problem? -jmy

The Kick, u're referring to the "Cranking" when u try to start ?

My wild guess is, most probably if it doesn't start/ignite, is due to firing (Distributer/Alternator/Ignition Plugs).

Any chance you washed your engine or run through flash flood ? Possibility of water dripping into the combustion chamber in engine might cause that as well.

Other than that, the only I can think off is electonic fiuses & wiring perhaps.

Last week, my evo was miss firing and find out that spark plug chamber there was full of water..... Quite shocking but i was told it happen b4 to others....

since it's at eon.. plug in the MUT to check all electronics in your car.....

sometimes it could be just a fuse to the ECU/etc. car on fail safe mode. (maybe)

Got my GT. EON's point of view is that IES alarm causing instability. The ECU recognizes a fault and stalled the car. MUT111 is required to reset the system back live. Their advise is stick to original alarm only. However, i insist on a tracking system for family security. Unless MIT can provide one, i'll not compromise. The manager agreed to write to Mgt about this. On the other hand, my alarm xpert who does tons of security system for NAZA/HONDA claim IES or clifford is highly stable. Their tolerance level is good and draws little fr the power supply. The IES principal is notified and willing to prove it's point. What can i say? Could there be other matters that EON not willing to reveal? Pls advise. This is interesting.

IES = Integtrated Electronic System.
It's a high end alarm system .
Plz correct for any mistaken interpretation!

EON got back to me on alarm matter and as expected, will not recommend any other alarm other than the original. No tapping on the original electrical circuits.

well, i guess, in market still got no system tat stable n suit the GT
