My problem with my first gen coupe a/c is that it is not blowing cold air whenever the car is not moving! It's only doing its job when the car is moving. The faster I go, the cooler the air that comes out from the a/c! This problem only exists on hot sunny days!

Which part of my car that causes this problem and where can I get it repair with reasonable price and warranty to the parts that is being changed/repaired?

you can try max aircon ...beside new york hotel(J.B ) ...he did hyundai cars before.....juz my 2 cents worth

Thanks T_H, but i think it's too far for me! I'm currently in KL! Anyway I really appreciate it!

daniel, many possibility for that,

maybe the aircon fan at the front there is not working, try on the aircon, open the hood and check the aircon fan, if it's not spinning, try to hammer it.

if shit happen, your cooling coil might have leakage..

BlackSamurai, thanks for your suggestion but i've checked the aircon fan and it's still spinning! Lately i've found out that the failure of the a/c compressor is the cause of my a/c prob. The mechanic near my area told me that i must replace it with a recond. a/c compressor rather than an original one. The mechanics at Hyundai Service Centre also did said the same thing! The recond. compressor come with warranty but they hv no warranty on the original compressor! Is it advicible to change it to a recond. compressor?
