how to APPLY US visa - please share

i want to apply US VISA for holiday in hawaii.

how to apply so on

anyone got rejected/approved? share the info

i just got my US visa.
i applied it on a basis saying i'm gonna transit thru US enroute to canada. and during my stay in canada i would like to visit the US.

it is not hard if you're non-malay. not to discriminate anyone but that seems to be the case in the embassy. as long as you show sufficient prove and you have no criminal records they'll let you thru.

they approved my visa on the spot after interview. collected my passport the nxt day. they gave me a 10 years visa.

this morning i havind a discusssion with partnet becoz our client want to bring in a foreign studends.in the middle of discussion, my client told us that she was a student in US for 2 years,on her graduation day, she want to bring her husband for the convocation..everything lay down on the table why, when, all the reason to come, unfoRtunately after 3 times submit all rejected..

and in her last words to us , she said im not going to missed US even im a student there,US PLAY double standard to asian people..even im chinesse..

so my frenz said,im student graduated from US TOO, from his exprienced reason why US goverment not allowed the chinesse to enter the US becoz majority the chineese when enter US they become ilegal citizen. of course they will go n find china town and get support from the chinesse comunity..enter and hidden after 5 years appeal to get a PR..that what happen..

muslim cannot enter becoz terrorist..

so my frez add, "last time my company sent me back to US to become trainer to train workers in company factory at US...he really angry when they want to apply visa, they que up like a general workers not as an engineer..que up just to get visa which is a permision to enter US".bull shit to do that, he was sent by the US company to teach their people but the stupid US goverment restricted this US company staffs from enter US...he said im not going to do this, so he said to easy for everyone get visa do this..

GO TO EUROPE, AND APPLY VISA FROM US EMBASSY THERE, DO RED TAPE ORG BIROKRASI OR DOUBLE STANDARD..

Depends you are a student or working adult. After 911 incident, i think they strengthen the process.

I believed travel visa should be easier to obtain, just make sure you photocopy your asset list and documentation such as car, housing loan, car registration cards, FD cert and etc ... any proof that can justify you will come back to msia.

If ur accoount is empty, then you better start figuring some excuse cos i am sure they will ask u all this.

If you are under company application, nothing much as all my colleague just submit, they will cross with with the company (Cos my company is US based) and you will get your visa in few days times. Sometimes, you will required to attent interview which they just ask few question due to all our supporting document. Oh! Btw, all employees under our company went through the background check by our US HQ, to ensure none of us are potential terrorite! Haha!

Angah, I've many friends who studied in the US and they came and went again with no problems. I don't know why your friends had so many stories to tell. I'm a US graduate as well and I spent 4 years there. I applied a visa through my company (US based) and there was no problem. In fact, I'm in US as we speak.

As for applying to go on vacation. Show enough proof that you're actually going there for vacadtion. If you're going with your mum, make sure she has a US visa already. Show them your hotel reservation. Also, you must be working now or they will ask you what have you been doing when you were jobless. Be confident and answer with one answer. Don't tell them A and when they re-ask the same question after a few mins, you go answer B. YOu must have a purpose to go there. Just show them the purpose. Hotel reservations, all the likes.

It's not hard to get a Visa, just answer truthfully. They will know if you're going to do stupid things there.

As for angah, your friends prolly overstayed in the US. It's not surprising to get their applications rejected. You'll be rejected for a few reasons; you don't know what you're going there for; you have no job; your answers aren't consistent; race does not matter. If you're a muslim, you might be asked more questions or show more proof to why you want to visit the US. It does not matter where you apply your visa from. If you're an ass during the interview, you'll be rejected if you apply form the moon.

if you apply at the embassy outside malaysia and singapore then it will be easier to get. My friend got 10 years multiple entry visa through vietnam without much problem. another done it in china also got approved very quickly
