how make sure my soundstream speakers are real?

hi guys, just hoping if anyone could clear my doubts. i bought a pair of egs 6.9 soundstream speakers at cv audio ampang. it was bought a while ago. bought it for rm 480. when i asked for warrenty, i was told that it's hard for them to give warrenty for speakers cause it depends on how the user handles that speakers. is this true? but i was assured it there was anything wrong with the speakers i could exchanged... i had the speakers for bout a year and a half now.. no problems so far. just want to make sure i bought the real deal... how do i do that? the no warrenty part kinda threw me off..thanks in advance.

ummm... why only now you want to know after using it for 1.5 years?
and in general, you have limited warranty for speakers. Just ask CV audio for authorised product cert. if any.

Warranty void as based on customer way of usage???!?!?!?! no such thing.

As long there is Mobile Auto Technology sticker there cause show its genuine product from soundstream. I had bought Soundstream xts6.9 from Maxaudio a month back for RM 210. So far so good for the bass and its magnet weight is 30 oz....

As far that I can remember, actually speakers doesn't have warranty. The warranty is only valid when it is found faulty during the installation by their authorized dealers.

Speakers durability are dependent on how you use it. If you feed clipped signals (ultimate boost) to it, it is not the responsibility of the manufacturers. However, most responsible installers will setup the system in a way that no clipped signals will be fed to the speakers (by using scope, blablabla).

But most of the time the installers will give their own warranty for speakers installed by them.

Where got Auto 1 ?.. it is Mobile AUDIO Technology (MAT)... yup Spekear & Sub got warranty but not same as Amplifier warranty coz spekear just apply certain condition only.. U can read at the warranty card & compared it loorrr...
