Speakers no sound , please help

My car is a proton satria 1.3 , i recently got a pioneer headunit and a pair of 3 way soundstream speakers for the front and im using the stock blaupunkt mid bass at the rear. The problem is while driving and listening songs yesterday suddenly all my speakers cut off. Why did this happen, i dont have any amplifier installed , its direct powered by my player to speaker. My player works fine just that no sound.

check the wirings... i am guessing the wires got loose or something that the +ve and -ve got shorted...

Well , must i check the speaker wires or the player. I am goin to my sound system guy 2moro and getting it checked, just that i was very annoyed to why this happened.

well problem solved , the speaker on my front door wiring was touching my door body, so it short circuit and therefore the player automatically cuts off the power supply to the speakers. My audio guy had to reinstall and use some DYnamat around the speaker panel, i was advised to upgrade to 1.6 door trim. Since its more solid then the 1.3 door panel.
