Guys out there,

Please advise me and the rest of the readers if you have came accross with Engine Convert Shops with the listed below items :

1. Reasonable prices (labour for transplanting engine without parts)
2. Good and neat workmanship
3. Good wiring
4. Fast work - can convert/transplant engine for 3-4 days
5. Feel very satisfied with the work done on your car/s after converting
6. The most important thing is they don't CON the customers


I believe many people are looking for this quality shops if you guys have experienced the shop mentioned above please state :

1. Exact location of the shop
2. Name of the shop

It does not matter if cherry tree workshop also would be fine.

got 1 shop also cheap.. Nemesis Auto Garage.. location is klang.. but might be moving to usj soon... they r cheap n they provide jpj clearance too... 1 of the mechanic is ex microtech staff.. he use to work in sunway workshop.. saw his work.. very good.. the shop belong to 1 of our forum member.. eattle.. intrested can contact him at 0163585842 (Alan Tan)

If i were you guys i will stay far far from eattle (Alan Tan). He conned me of RM$7k and my car I had to tow out of his workshop. Now he refuses to answer to my calls when i asking for half refund.

Bobo, when u stopped working with Alan Tan , you should have told me also. And I listen to his stories, he tells me how idiot stupid and selfish you are. He blames all my car probelms on you. Say you damaged my head and stuff.

If you had told me, i would have immediately left the workshop with my car. Then I wouldnt have spend 3 months car-less and now got CHEATED of 7K. My hard earned money. =(

This mechanic can even curse his own family, using them as excuses for delaying my car.

He said he was delivering my car to me on the way when he receive news that his father in hospital cos got cancer. NExt time was his grandma died.

Bloody hell, after one month, i go and see my car, it was still not moving. This kind of offsrping, i feel sorry for his family.

IMO, labour RM600 for engine transplant is reasonable especially if our car already use EFI engine.

but if previously using carburettor and transplant to EFI, i do not think can get similar rate. :D

i just changed my engine to 1.8gsr....
1.Reasonable prices=haftcut rm5800, the whole conversion process plus halfcut RM13000++ !!!!!!BLARDY HELL!!!i knew he overcharged me...managed to bring down to rm10000++

2.Good and neat workmanship=ok lar....acceptable

3.Good wiring=thats wat he claims that he dont cut and 'sambung' wiring one,he connect all the wirings thats why price abit "higher"

4.Fast work=took two weeks to finished....that time i was in rush so i want him to settle by 12 days....when i collect my car,still got some minor problems...i thought no problem la,can send back to repair...but after i paid,things changed,services changed,face also changed!! malas to layan me!!
so my advice to those who interested to modd their car,NEVER NEVER make them rush and hurry,when collect ur car make sure u are satisfied with ur car,if got problem ask them to settle BEFORE U MAKE ANY PAYMENT!!!!!!!!

5. Feel very satisfied with the work done on your car/s after converting=so far no complain....opps i did had a complain,i was pissed off by their lousy after service and "malas nak layan" face so I SENT MY CAR TO ANOTHER WORKSHOP and now im happy with my car

6.The most important thing is they don't CON the customers=wat do u think guys??u go and judge


one more advice to those who wants to modd their car, NEVER NEVER NEVER rush urself to make a decision...think twice,do more research and make a compare.i made a mistake cos this workshop was recommend by someone and claims that their service is good and reliable,so i just go ahead and do eventhough i knew the market price was around 7 to 8k plus bcos my concern was the after conversion service and responsibility

yes u are right. BEfore i paid Eattle, he promised the world and everything can be done in 2.5 weeks sui sui. I told him to take his time and i will collect it in a months time.

After i pay him. He stopped doing my car. End up i towed it out 3 months later.

Now trying to get my money back but he is very evasive.
