To all guru's,

need some info help here. May i know our 4AFE injector is High Impedance or Low? and also what does it means top feed or side feed?

and also ours is running on map sensor right?

CHeck the injector resistance with ohmmeter anf if its around 0-4 ohm that should be low impedence,if its higher than 8 ohm, that should be high impedence, some engine have external injector ballast resistor, try check on that too,top feed is where the fuel enter the injector on top of it (4AFE,4AGE 16V) and side feed is where the fuel enter the injector from the side(4AGE 20V),4AFE running on MAP sensor...

Great help there. Tks alot. owe u 1 teh o ais limau if u r in JB. whahahaha.

oh yeah, how does a ballast resistor looks like? normally its located in whr?

The ballast resistor normally bolted to firewall, with few wires coming out of it,usually white/greyish in color, with metal plate holding it to the firewall or whatever it may bolted to..

thn it will connect back to the ignition coil? what's the pros and cons of both type of injector?

but dual fuel rail with both top feed and side feed injectors la... conpirm bagus! hahaha ;)
