Guys, i'am experiencing "non responsive pedal this evening"....while cruising at approximately 100km/hr
my engine light light-up and my accelerator pedal did not response for any action...the engine and other function still on, luckily i able to stop the car at the road side switch off the engine and start it back and it turn to normal.....did also check all the sensor connection ....look fine.

any idea or suggestion or anybody have experiencing this before? ...:hmmmm:

hulkv6tt,

maybe it's the o2 sensor...go n have a check.
experienced that before..changed the o2 sensor, then back to normal.

or maybe it's the fuel pump..or the fuel filter.

let me know if it's the o2 sensor. I think I still have mine (5AT) with me. can sell it to you cheap. brand new is around RM1.5k+- and it's almost impossbile to find a used o2 sensor. only on halfcuts.

wow... the haunted 'blank throttle' problem!!...
many things may contribute to this.. one of our fren here davidgm16 has been facing the
same symptom since early this year! maybe u can pm him, his is kinda solved (i think).

hehe... take a look for your throttle body dude... long time never clean that?

Guys!! thanks for the advice n opinion really appericiate it....the O2 sensor never being checked or replaced....but the throttle body just being service about 6 month ago.

i'll will update you guys on the progress ....thanks alot

it will be a very long troubleshooting process if u are unlucky.
i'm just noob but i can tell u that things that u shud inspect are
- throttle body
- maf
- o2
- ecu
- any extra gadget installed (Voltage stabilizer = pivot raizin, pfc, afc, rsm,etc...if u hv any of these)

good luck and pls keep us update ..:)

hulkv6tt,

i think check the O2 sensor 1st, cos the same symptom happened to me before. anyway throttle body needs to be serviced every 2 times oil change, approx once in 3,4 months or around 10k mileage.

Thanks Bro, I'll will look at it 1st....btw can i know the price of the 2nd hand O2 sensor of yours.

hi guys,

Went up to scan my ecu today and it is confirm that the throttle body need cleaning or the acceleration position sensor need replacement.

i gonna service my throttle body today... wish for the best.

here are error that capture by the scanner
i) P11120 accelerator position sensor circ uit malfunction.
ii) P1121 accelerator position sensor range performance problem.

for error no ii), can my TREC coz this error to pop up?

Guys,..the problem hit me again this morning, but the error that came out only one..p1120,

gonna dismantle my throttle body and look at the accelerator sensor closely tomorrow....wish me luck guys,.....any advice or caution from taikor here

good luck bro...
try put another throttle body n have a run in for 2,3 days...if problem still there, then it's not the throttle body i guess...
or..
try to get 2nd opinion from Trial or any other specialists.

hi guys,

Did dismantle the TB and detach the Accelerator Position sensor from the main TB, looks like if the culprit is the APS, then it is a gonner, nothing can be done ....just a replacement.

but i did some research on error P1121, and found this:

P1121 = Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor/Range Performance.

P1121 = Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Inconsistent With MAF Sensor High Voltage

the error code that came out on P1121 will base on the type of diagnotic/scanner that the tuner/mechanic use....so tomorrow will try to clean my MAF sensor....or may be the MAF is the culprit.:smokin:.....kehkehkeh..
