anybody know wats going on fr the car if blow the petrol a lot? i pump fr rm120.00 bt just can run around 400km!!!!!

bt im 100% city driving, n sometime i also press harder, my RPM run to 5000-6000. bt no all the time. one or two time in the highway there when i wan to start to pick up. wats the problem if the cefiro 3.0 blow lot of petrol? is tat sensor broken?? i heard defcon told me bfr, if sensor broken will cause this problem.....:sad_smile: :sad_smile: :sad_smile:

if install the K & N filter, really will solve up the high FC??

Sounds more like modifying for higher performance than solving fc problems. my advice : go easy on the pedal , some regular servicing & maintenance will do the job

cefiromaniac, where to fix centre box? Any exhaust shop can do the job ah? How much ah? Already clean the throttle body, ya, it is very very dirty. no more engine die off problem.

There basically 2 types of centre box , the bullet type or the box muffler type both will offer equal increase in performance but it does not actually affect the note of the exhaust unless you have change the rear muffler. Performance ? You will feel a little better in acceleration and midrange power though but it won't solve your f/c problem. Infact you will feel that the car drinks more fuel coz you will most likely to floor the pedal as the car feels more powerful (after changing the c/box).

Lawcc, I just install a center box to replace the cat converter since last time the other exhaust guy just remove my cat-converter and replace with a straight pipe and I lost pick-up. Recently I found out that a used cat converter can be sold as scrap iron for at least RM150-RM200. wah..lau..eh..... no wonder that exhaust guy quickly de-cat for me and replace with straight pipe for only RM60 and he smile all the way to the scrap iron shop XXXXXX.
Anyway, I just replace the center box at Bandar Sunway, the biggest exhaust shop there for RM350. Hope this will help.

Cat converters are actually lined with platinum (expensive commodity) inside the honeycomb material, that is why its so expensive even secondhand , Iam still keeping cat for my felio & wira, which i refused to give to the exhaust guy even he kept asking for it. He became very unhappy after that!

You could try to sell yours at a exhaust shop @ Puchong area (nearby tesco). I think its wai heng exhaust or something , my guest is you would need to buy something from them ( ie mid -pipes, muffler systems, downpipe or y-pipe) b4 they accept your trade in .

My fuel consumption became worst coz i've realised my car's acceleration and mid range power improved lot, i did the WOT more frequently!
