Help!!! Graphic Card

my graphic card spoilt liao... need 2 change new card!!!!

but my system is using SD Ram,

now new graphic card all wrote DDR,
i wish 2 know whether SDRam motherboard can support???
i plan 2 change MSI Geforce FX 5200 128DDR if my motherboard can support.....

urgent need help!!!!!!
 
Nope....it doesn't matter whether u're using SD-Ram or DDR for your computer.
U will haf to identify whether your mainboard supports AGP cards. U might be using a PCI card now, so to be safe better check first. Err...guess it's also better if u can provide more information on your computer such as mainboard model and make, which processor u're using but i assume it's a Pentium3 since u're using SD-Ram. ;)
 
no problem.. ddr or sd ram for graphic card wont matter to ur system
as ExtremeRC said, what is important is to make sure ur AGP port..
izzit AGP 1.1, 2.0, 2.1 or 3.0 [if not mistaken, got 3.0]
if u have old mo-bo, u can isntall latest card, but u wont get tu use all it performance
but if u have new mo-bo, u cant install old type cards
well, gf4 are considered latest card [year2000]
btw, its juz for ur info.. might help :lol:
