Getting Anoda CPU

Ola amigos...can anyone help me in getting a high end cap ayam mixed and match CPU...currently im using 3 years old PC with 733 P3..256 Ram and a MX440 graphic card...its still is good but not good enuff to play today's game...so i want to get anoda CPU cos the old one can be hooked up to my TV set(means can get 2 PC running)...just have to get a second set of keyboard,mouse and speaker shud do the trick...as im not tat good in pc modding...can anyone out there help me...is it better for me to get anoda CPU or to just upgraded my old one...can anyone list me the hardware i shud get if i were to upgrade...cos some shop told me i have to change motherboard to use P4...really ar?wats the current RAM like nowadays?and wat good and bang for buck graphics card that could play all the latest games on the shelf today ar??arigato

You want bang for bucks I suggest you use Athlon.. it's cheaper and equally powerful. Go for the 2Ghz and above ones.. will need to change mo-board and probably have to use DDRam already. SDRAM PC133 RAM is out of date and most new mobo's don't support it anymore. As for a good graphics card that's worth the money, a cheaper option is the Ti4200. If you wanna get the FX series, go for higher than 5200 becuz the Ti4200 outperforms that graphics card.

I think you can get a decent upgrade for about plus minus 1500.

Oh.. consider investing on cooling systems as well, not lousy fans, I mean good heatsyncs and cooling systems.

arr?wats a DFi mobo lar?thanks but i think i'll stick to pentium 4....any recommendation on them pentiums?and do i really have to change the motherboard to a pentium 4 ones?danks

mobo = mother board

if u using P3 wanna change P4
u hafta change mobo
but i recommend AMD
cos cheaper
