enquiry on gti exhaust

im driving a satria 1.3gli.is it ok if i change my whole set exhaust to full set gti exhaust?extractor,mid bullet n rear box n all?does it improves power or anything?is it practical?wuts the diameter of the gti piping?is it 1.8"?does it have any benefit changing to gti exhaust?i dont want it too loud.mayb a bit bassy will do.newbie ere.thanx

it will surely wont be bassy because its the ori exhaust that ur gonna change to.(ori one rite?)

power?might lose power/makan minyak coz the size is not suitable for ur car's displacement.(1.3)

it all comes down to basics.
good intake and good exhaust.
get either a good cold air intake or a short air ram.
then get a suitable size exhaust pipe to maximize power.
(i cant remember the suitable size for 1.3)

i dont know the size of the gti's pipes :frown:

u mean change the air filter ka?the filter with or without piping better?wut is a cold air intake?frm wut i kno,piping for satria 1.3 is around 1.7'"-1.8".who knows the size of gti pipes?

the gti piping is around 1.8"-2.0" if i not mistaken
the filter with piping is much more better
then buy a heat shield for ur filter
if ori 1.3 better go 4 1.8" piping
if not u will lost the power of ur engine

original GTi piping (from mid to back) is 1.7"
downpipe is 1.5"

i use the ori gti exhaust on my 1.6 satria..top end failed..
pickup is ok..better use the ori one..im using rear mufller only..for look ok..for go..no..maybe have to change the whole system

pipping better dun change...because if not u will lose ur top power...changing ur rear box will effect nothing...except sound but since u will be using stock gti exhaust there wont be much sound...try changing one part by one part...but seriously dun change ur extractor and middle pipping...its for your own good.if u want gti exhaust i got...the end box withe new tip...RM120 onl...if interested then pm me.

fuel is almost the same la..
watch your spark plug and air filter..it can save your fuel..

well,doink,that is consider damn cheap..i buy my satria GTI muffler for RM 200.that 3 month usage only before he change to evo3 engine and all his piping..why cannot change extractor?isnt it more better??

the xtractor sure cannot fit coz diff engine

just take the rear box...use back ori piping...by tat u'll get better fc n power compared 2 whole 1.8 system
