hey guys, i decided to go for B16A... i've ask around the halfcut shop regarding the halfcut of B16A, but i got 1 question. there are 2 typr of dashboard and meter among the B16A halfcut... 1) black dashboard with white meter 2) grey dashboard with black meter... which one is cheaper? what is the difference? i've seen alot of white meter, with the max speed indicate at 190km/h, but the black meter shown max is 240 km/h if not mistaken.... also some ppl said black meter with grey dashboard is more expensive since it's limited... anyone pls?

what i saw a lot are, either black or grey dashboard but both are white meter, those black meter rpm redline at 7k if not wrong, come normally in d series engine, not b16a,unless, those h/cut from us market since i knew us gt using black meter for b16a.... not much price different since it written b16a on the engine :deal::deal::deal: now b16a at semenanjung market range from 7.5k - 9k plus depend on the condition and what special parts come with it......even u bargain to not take together dashboard, rear disc and petrol tank, those tauke manage to cut 400-800 only.... that is what called business...

oh i see.... thx for the info.... cause my car door trim everything was in like grey color... to match it nicer i think i should pick grey color..... but then the mech told me grey color is limited, cause last production of EG which are in grey color... it is?

not sure, mine is grey also, wanna find grey end up got 1 is black:banghead::banghead: but ppl keep say got different between 1992 and 1994 production... 92 is grey,94 black

then why b16a over b18c gsr???? u sure regret wan la bro...

they say for b18c gsr u nid luck,if get 98 before is good, after 98 they followed type r spec,s80 gearbox with longer 4th and 5th that cause less pull on this 2 gears but got top speed...

Go for B18C GSR bro. It's not much difference in terms of FC I believe if that's what you are concerned about.

stock B18C no prob bro...depends on your foot only bro...management wise not necessary, but if you want more you can go for it...mine B16A stock too doesnt tune at all till now

im not a real racer la... i seldom race... i just like this type of Vtec engine sounds and power when i need it... hahaha...... but if compare with B16A and B18C put in EG9, bigger cc save more fuel? im not a heavy footer... plus my mech told me if put B18c need to mod the wiring???

safe to say, if its stock the FC is quite alright wan la. dont worry too much abt the FC. u probably wont even notice the difference.
