DSG to Manual conversion

2 weeks for parts and tools to arrive, still bearable compared to Audi or VW. Have to agree with you on the trouble with owning continental cars in this country.

Would like to try a VW Golf or Golf GTI with manual gearbox. Want to get a feel of the clutch of continental car.

Despite the price of continental cars becoming more affordable nowadays, maintenance difficulties still remains the same. Price and waiting time for parts to arrive.

Have a try of Renault Megane?

You did not read one of Tom's post that he can get further discount for 2014 and 2015 manufactured models and yes he has many connections to car industry.....

I think public ones were the Polo, Jetta and Passat, Golf was later but not public if not mistaken. Tom also mention the Scirocco......

I only remember he mentioned Scirocco R. Normal 1.4 TSI Scirocco don't know got or not. Yesterday he mentioned Golf GTI.

When it was remapped to stg 1+, dynoed 178whp ...managed to outdrag Scooby Ver 8 STI on 350m Dato Sago track. It's a shame I didn't proceed ordering new ECU and already purchased turbo kit which would push the power to 260-280whp where the lag should remains unchanged. God I missed this car :D

If get from Germany, that will cost even more. [emoji3]
