Did anyone resolve the sticky airbag cover issue?

Hey guys,

My dashboard beginning to rot but I can live with it for another 1 plus yr. The sticky passenger airbag cover is really bugging me now. Any DIY solutions guys?

In the singapore forum the ppl there just changed the dashboard.

I know but the airbag cover comes separately with the airbag and not with the dashboard.

actually i also bought air bag cover from japan auction..
havent got the opportunity to install it yet..coz i thought might as well i paint the whole dashboard..
from my survey there are shops that can do it...cost btw 1.5k to 2+k..whole dashboard and console..
u can also buy new dashboard...but it wont solve ur stick airbag cover issue coz new dashboard is completely kosong..
coz about 1+k also for new dashboard from wing hin..
anyway if i do decide to paint my dashboard, i will put up the air bag cover for sale..
