no need..the Gti isnt about "racing"...just go to any wald dealer...sit in it..smell the leather, feel the gear lever...touch the dashboard...open the boot via the VW logo, feel how solid the doors are, listen to the sound system...
then go for a drive....use the DSG and shift tru the gears...feel the torque.....marvel at the lack of wind noise even at 150kph...
my Wrx feels like a proton in terms of nvh/quality when compared to the Gti...you cant beat the Conti feel....even the most expensive hot jap is no where near...look at the RX8...interior like proton
