Hi guys,

I now have an Evo 4 5 speed, clutch pedal, shifter & cables and most other bits to start my manual conversion.

It came with a standard Evo 4 flywheel, clutch and pressure plate too - what clutch and flywheel have others (Avant etc) used for their conversion? Stuck with Evo 4 size flywheel and clutch or used the larger Evo 7 size flywheel and clutch?

Thanks,
Russell

bro russell, seems like no one answering ur thread quite long time. i'm not very sure, but if the flywheel fits then it should be no problem. i think from 4 to 9 it would fit just minor difference. hope this helps.

Hi Russell, I was using a Evo4 5-speeder for over a year. Just changed to a Evo7 5-speeder few months back. I did not change the clutch and flywheel. It's up to u whether u want to upgrade that as well, they're compatible I believe.

Thanks Avant - I'm going to try the used Evo4 clutch and flywheel I have to start with too, if I get too much slip I'll go down the heavy duty Evo 7 clutch and flywheel path later on.
