changing to bigger air cond compressor

Will changing to bigger aircond compressor effect the performance of a car? For example.. from a 1.0 air cond compressor change to a 1.6 air cond compressor. Will it effect the performance of the car? Tq

if im not mistaken..it will lower ur timing.sacrificing performance.not quite sure if im rite..

i think biggger compressor will mean heavier drag=less power+increase in fuel consumption.

i dun tink u need tat changes.
it does affect performance. n u will be frustrated each time the compressor kicks in when u're driving. u will feel the obvious extra load...

bigger type compressor is quieter and less vibrating. compare a 1993 iswara (big)and 1998 iswara (small)..can feel the difference.

not necessarily bigger compressor will boost the cooling power, try install and 2nd fan at front of air-cond condenser.

sumthing like RM80++, it worked in my galant.
