Hi,just want to ask regarding change ownership.
My father passed away last year,so im using his car now and want to change the ownership to me.
What is the standard procedure for this?
What documents should i prepare to bring to JPJ?

Firstly, sorry on the demise of your father.
On the ownership transfer of your father's car, was there a will made? If yes, who is the executor and who did he will the car to? If to you, then executor have to apply for grant of probate, before any transfer can be done. Same time do whatever things need to transfer. Example, Maybe he has a house in his name etc...
If there is no will, then check with your lawyer on how to apply for a Letter of Administration. With the LA from the court then only can proceed with the transfer.

I am not a lawyer, but had a little experience before quite a few years ago, but I think the laws on these have not changed much. I might be wrong so maybe some one can advise bro. lanz better...
