Carbon Fibre fabric

So... does anyone know where to buy carbon fibre fabric? These usually come in rolls at least one foot wide. I am looking for large pieces to make my own CF hood and doors for my FC. Its a long term project.

I'll be using marine grade plastic with a hardener catalyst - does not need oven baking.

Currently, I've gotten down the method to make small items from PVC or rubber cast molds. Now to up-size it big time.

But I have yet to track down CF suppliers in Malaysia. I know there must be some around but only been able to find them in SG.

Dry CF is a bonus but to use that properly is a different game altogether.

Not cheap. Depend on the market demand, a roll of 50 meters CF fabric would cost you more than RM15k, abt RM300-350 per meter

Overseas, the price is about RM 150 per meter, wondering why there is such big price difference.

The fibre shop dont want to sell 1 or 2 meter unless they have unused left. Even the supplier in Msia they only sell in roll.

CF Fabrics and CF sticker different ar ? .. Then those CF Hood at store using what material , Real CF or known as CF Fabrics?

loo Sean D: the carbon fiber look sticker is different..its just a sticker to stick on onto your prelude's hood to make it look like carbon fiber hood :)

real carbon fiber hood is light weight and its made out of those material called carbon fabrics and fiber fabrics
