more specific please wat car u driving?

wat do u mean by expensive? labout charge or parts?

maybe u can diy...not so difficult if u just wanna change engine oil and oil filter...

okey.i am currently using a satria 1.3 manual.i just wanna do a normal servicing.the previous one that i go is expensive in terms of oil and also labour.besides that i wanna change my central locking as it is spoilt.any recomendation of place which i could go too?

i am staying in cheras.working in pj.so if u noe anyone maybe ur mechanic jus intro to me.it would be easier.

why dont u just go to proton service centre? since its just regular service that u require.

true but then i am taking out the parts out like the air filter which is the open pod.i am changing back to the original one and also proton centre i find that it is much more expensive and i dont see any quality in them that why i outsource others which i hope to find a good and also at a reasonable rates.

Proton service expensive? wrong!!

that was then, now Proton has learned from their mistakes.

they now have promotions for minor servicing for Iswara 1.3/1.5, Wira 1.3/1.5/1.6 and satria 1.3/1.6.

package cost RM58 including engine oil, oil filter and labour charge. i can say that it is reanonably cheap bcoz we will also get guaranteed genuine oil filters. many outside workshops claim to use genuine oil filter, but i come to know last year that proton oil filters had been imitated using similar package. even down to the hologram sticker.

other than oil change, they will service air filter and top up all fluid levels if necessary (battery water, brake fluid, pwr strg fluid, wiper tank, etc)

but advisable to avoid branches. go for dealer as there are less customers. example the one at Jalan TUn Razak (near Pekeliling bus stand) or Petronas service station at Sepang Circuit. you should be able to find one nearby you at Cheras.

just for the information the 58 bucks is not the normal service,it is the price of the black oil as i call up the dealer and he told me is hundred plus.the oil filter is different charges and also the spark plug they have different charges
