Hye guys , well i recently purchased a BMW 525i (M) with a BOT kit , i have changed to bigger intercooler , redid the intercooler piping , redid oil piping , added a scavenge pump (turbo oil return pump) , added a BOV to my turbo system and also serviced my TURBO at Tong turbo.

Now , when i drive the car around normally , it is fine i can rev up nicely and all. Problem is when i floor the pedal , in other words , heavy acceleration , after about 4000-5000rpm , my car jerks , rpm does not climb and BOV just goes (pshh pshhh pshhhhhh) until i release the accelerater, it only happens when i floor the pedal or accelerate rapidly.

Why is this happening ?? Any idea and info would be really great, also to add the car has no management system , i am planning to get e-manage ultimate soon to perfect the tuning system.

Car is using BMW 525i original engine , 5 speed manual transmission and has a Turbo kit

what year is your E34?

how long have your had this problem? assuming your is pre 1990 with the simpler M20 engine.
i had the M20 in both the E30 and E34. it was not turboed but if you encountered this only recently, it could be due to insufficient voltage?

forget emanage.. it will fuck up your cold start... trust me, even ramsing kena the same case.. go for interceptor.. i got my own one for sale.. ahhaha. anyway, i'm not saying it coz i'm selling it but it's the fact....

did u check for vacum leaks? the other thing is.. check yr MAF as well...

could it be your fuel pump or maybe just a minor loose hose...

You are hitting the fuel cut. Have you got urself any engine management system? BMW is running NA mod. Extra loads of air (from turbo) need extra fuel but your ecu reads out lean due to extra air and hitting the fuel cut.

hey guys thanx for all the info , well the car currently has no management system im using the original ecu from bmw , the engine is a 525i 12 valve. I am clueless to why this is happening but i will go through all the suggested problems above.

reintel > well once i get a management system like emanage ultimate , this problem shud be solved ryt.

blackhowling > hey bro , well what is interceptor i never came across this before , most shops suggest me to use emanage ultimate but if u have feedback on it il follow ur advise.

tom > well to be frank i just purchased the car about 1 month ago , it needed the turbo system rebuild , now that is it rebuild , it runs fine but i have this issue when i floor the pedal.

I believe other than the Emanage Ultimate, the Unichip would work as well.. as with any piggyback.. select the best tuner, then select the piggyback that the tuner can work with.

The tuner is what tunes the car, not the piggyback/standalone.
