Fuse I use 250A. Just to avoid cable shorting and burn car down.

You still link to engine compartment battery cable, right? There is a fuse also.....

Yes. This fuse to protect the cable. Incase shorting to body. Before I bbq the car.

Ok, understood. Myself one time after market headlight direct harness from battery shorted and melted. Really understand your bbq meaning......lol

Many have not seen a cable shorted/grounded on a 12v battery. It glows red then melt, same time can cause fire......lol
