Just want to ask u guys.....
My standard b16a manual use rm50 to get 250km
izit good or bad FC?????

RON 95 or 97?
if 95= Bad (but not so bad laa)
if 97= OK laa

Mine stock B16A auto
RON 95, RM50 = 330km

Honda rated FC
B16A manual = 13km/l
B16A auto = 11.2 km/l

So do the math...

my stock b16a manual use to hit 380-420KM on 45litres...
think you should use km/litre calculaltion due to fluctuating petrol price...

My car use ron95.....its bad.....:bawling:
My add on are simota filter and fgk manifold:driver:

How do you guys drive?
I drive a MT D16 with aircond off 65% of the time, and rm50 (ron95 caltex) only gets me 300KM

FC depends on alot of factors, City or highway driving, no of stops/idling/jam,condition of car & the most important one...your right foot!

I travel an average 100km perday, 90% is highway cruising, mostly keeping my RPM below 4K (can cruise around 120-140kmh) & no sudden accelerations and VTEC CLOSED (only OPEN when theres some "gelabah" driver...hehe). And theres little idling en route.

A fact about AC is, if you turn off your AC but put the both windows down while cruising above 100km/h, your FC will maintain or worsen. (becoz of wind resistance). A method of reducing wind resistance is just rolling the window down on one side or just opening a bit. Better to just dont put down altogether and use the fan (AC off).

Ooooo....thats y many people like to install sunruf..... to avoid opening window......hence avoiding drag......briliant.....

Good for aerodynamics...but a slight weight penalty...+20kg

my B16a auto consumption is 8.5l - 12l /100km depending on driving condition

my B16a auto gets 450km total minimum before lights comes on (town driving). maybe try to reset the ECU or are you running management? any mods to the AF system?

try checking also after a long drive, get down n touch your rims. are they hot? if they are, it could be your pads are rubbing the rotors too much. has happened to me b4. when was the last time you cleaned your TB?last time fuel filter changed?

arturo : thats damn good mileage man.

mine full tank with 95, gets me around 320-350km only.

city driving ONLY hahaha.

no vtec open, cuz car too slow, dont bother.

arrow...like that u say good ar? i miss my fc b4 the pnp...last time slightly better...can still hit 500 on normal driving...and u where can compare to me la...monster(you) vs anak kucing terbantut(me)!

my B16a auto, engine already clock more than 280k milleage...using fully synthetic oil...runs 9-10L / 100km...using ron97...driving condition is between town and highway....daily running around 80km + - distance...

all stock standard...using 15" sir original rims...only mod is K&N air filter...

arturo: mine not monster la bro, stock 1.6 with type r intake and headers only! probably thats why my mileage koyak la, anyway, my car is waaaay heavier than urs bro!

hmmm.... very good mileage for 16a auto! driving attitude? must be, leg very light...

Mine stock B16A Manual. Getting around 10km-11km/L. Using RON95. But can hear knocking sound. 50% highway 50% city drive.

yeah....knocking. lots. i find no difference in using 95 and 97 in terms of fc but no knocking and very good response when switch to 97(dizzy timing advanced till no more knocking). but since fuel very exp nowadays...it isnt justified to spend an extra rm40+/full tank for 97 so i've detuned to run 95. knocking still there but only at very hi speeds n when really pedal to metal. responsiveness is horrible tho. u'll go *BROOOAAAAAAAP* at junctions when u pedal to metal to get out fast but no go

Arrow...ya...its true yrs much heavier...but the R intake oni very narrow band of power n at 5800rpm above oni rite? u loose much power in the daily drive range...maybe thats y u loose so much FC la...i discussed with TR once if got way to make an adjustable intake but the science of air flow WAAAAAAAAAAY over our heads... xtremeleo did suggest trying out the B18c GSR intake but need to save up on management to really make use of it first...
