Personally it has to depends on whether you are a NA or a Turbo fan person.. I know a guy in sg did his swift NA spent at least SGD 20k++ just to get what he was satisfied with some expensive items like sun line racing full exhaust system costing sgd2k, motec m800, Carrillo pistons, okada plasma, greddy cams, rrp valves and valve springs, and many more list to go which will leave us drool.. But we will think, with that kind of amount spent, you already can get an evo 7 half cut, plonk it in our swift body and get it endorsed and eat most of the 2.0-2.5 liter cars.. But again this all boils down to what is your preference? Turbo or NA? For him is surely NA, but for me I opted for Turbo as all my cars are turbocharged.. Except one pasar pagi car for my mom use... For turbo, you have to take note of your brakes too as the amount of torque generated is vy much higher than NA so the instant stopping power you need must be there. I myself did front 4pot from Lexus car(can check the brakes modification thread where I shared my mod) and rear 2pot from skyline R33.. The stopping power is unimaginable great! Just felt more confidence.. Anyway bro there's too much to list down here.. I did my BOT for more than rm10k.. Think all completed with new Unichip tuned in sg is about rm15k?? I can't really remember.. I can only say for the fuelling area including Sard side injector 800cc, AEM fuel pump, WORKS fuel pressure, WORKS fuel rail kit, CUSTOMMADE fuel return line cost me around RM1.5k.. So far I'm boosting max boost 0.7bar with 269Nm @ 3900rpm and achieving 183hp @ 6000rpm on Dynapack dynamometer.. Currently tuned to Ron97 fuel.. Top speed I still not sure as after I top the 180km/h speedo reading, I still find I have about 1/3 of pedal clearance before stepping it onto the floor.. Seriously swift is a vy nice car for it's class.. Play it slowly, save up your money and plan it carefully step by step.. I bought my used turbo kit and spent almost 1 year collecting information and parts before making it a reality...
