anyone tune ecu himself?

Seem like the table is correct, the boost is calculated boost control offset + engine load in Kpa. U need to edit definition from load8 to loadboost then convert KPa to psi n subtract atmospheric pressure from that (14.5psi ) to get the boost u see in your boost gauge. U may wan to test if its correct. Pls refer link below.

http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15947

oh crap.. more documents to read... much appreciated though :)

cmiiw.. 14.5psi is about 100kpa

so i've changed the scaling to loadboost, the numbers changed to 319.
319-100 = 219kpa = 31psi ??

max boost i've seen was about 17-18psi...

Ahh.. i figure it out.. Using load8 def. 17psi + 14.5psi = 31.5psi = 217kpa - 80 boost control offset = 137 (this should be the no. on load8 def )

Log your boost x rpm n compare data.

looks like it's still not quite there yet
boost desired (load8) = 159
atm pressure = 100
load offset (load16) = 40
159-100+40=99kpa = 14.36psi

U can't be running 18psi stock at 3600rpm..?

Can any1 confirm the stock boost..?

it was tuned by 'some professional', but their timing/fuel map was messy, basicly they just ripped me off.
i then reverted back the timing and fuel map to stock, and adjusted the timing and fuel from there
and boost limit, boost cut timer and fuel cut have been adjusted by someone i trusted.

This is correct, your running 14ish psi till 5krpm then drop to 13ish psi till 6krpm, after that 11ish psi. Max boost of 18psi is boost spike that last for 1sec as u can read in your log run, your boost cut at 200 load(160+40) when boost spike at 3.3krpm your boost cut delay is set to 4sec delay so u will not feel like hitting a wall at that rpm, after 4sec your load had drop under 200 becos u gain speed + wastegate open back up n holding at 190ish.

How the ECU control boost is depend on desire load not how many psi, u need to adjust your load offset to increase boost n boost cut, then set desire load at any giving rpm, just use the same calculating formula.( load may very between air temp, gearing, weight etc so there only ''ish'' psi )

oh man... just found out two tables sharing the same address... doesn't look right...

Update for boost limit table.

yes. as I understand the boost limit table being used are the boost limit n,1,2 and boost limit 3,4,5. the boost limit table itself is not used (afaik).

Yes.. this apply to all table like boost table 2 is n,1,2. table 3 is 3,4,5. fuel map table 1 is n,1,2, table 2 is 3,4,5. etc...

Have u start tuning your boost..?

the value on the 'boost desired engine load #2' is already maxed out. the way to increase it further is to increase the 'boost control load offset' which i'm currently reluctant to do since it might affect other variable.
might be perfect to run boost average at 14psi anyway, since (afaik) the stock turbo will start loose efficiency at 17psi which i have as the peak. what do you reckon?

might not have time to do much these days due to other commitments, the next thing i want to do is playing with the open loop threshold, and tuning timing/fuel further.

Yes.. will effect boost limit also... the way to do it is to lower all load value while increase offset. Its down to what u doing with your ride, daily or weekend warrior... If daily, keep the stock boost, fine tune fuel n timing...

fellow member asked me via pm about the mod needed for 1.3U cable. I'll just post the photo here, might be useful for other members too.

Actually it is not a mod, it is more like extension from the existing one.
shown in the photo, the yellow cable is the extension.
