anyone got myvi steering vibrate problem? i aledy do some tire balancing n rim all is ok! but it still vibrate, i think is disc rotor got problem!

need some myvi owner advise n help to fix this problem! thanks!!!

When braking? If so, then your disc is warp. you can either skim it or change it.if still under warranty, take it back to Perodua

go and get it skim

MYVI always got this problem because the disc P2 give is lousy...

i also got this problem..but after u skim already ok...need to take note...try to get aftermarket Disc to solve this...

don't get the same supplier...use other brand disc..then u will not face this problem again...

if still under warranty, which is 2 years for perodua, go to the service centre n change it. FOC. its a common prob for myvi. if some of u guys disk is still havent warp, just go n change the whole thing (caliper n disk) if nearly 2 years old. yes, it will warp again, but u save atleast a few hundred bucks.

me too have this kind of problem..but luckily for me my myvi still have d warranty (2k more..phew! )..d SC changed d whole new set of disc rotors and brake system...

till now no problem...phew~

He didnt state it was shaking when braking.i have one myvi less than 1000km but is vibrating when doing 120kmph...suspect is either the rim or driveshaft.plus the gearbox is a bit jerky...wonder is it the problem with 2nd generation myvi?jerking alot...:itsme:

if ur steering vibrate between 100km to 120km.. then on wheel balancing will solve this....but when u brake and the steering vibrate..then is your brake disc problem...no matter ur car how new....this problem can happen...just make sure get it check before the warranty expire...

since u r technician at perodua, just wanna know..the myvi engine use timing belt or timing chain?..:questionmark:

common problem for myvi for better results change to others/performance brand sure satisfied coz my friend got this experience before change twice new stocks disc still got steering vibrate..

the best is get aftermarket...but since still under warranty by P2..then go and change loh..save $$$$

if disc wrap and no more warranty, just get those aftermarket 1. I sold a quite a number and non return with problem.

Slot rotor with anti rust coated........search for my thread in marketplace. Thx

i heard some said its the driveshaft problem when speeding at 120-140kmph...i hate vibrations not vibrators!!!
