I have some problem with my altezza sxe10 when im driving slow on bumpy/rough road. There are some sound in suspension area. Is it suspension problem?..but mechanic just checked there is no leaking...Is it stabilizer link or bush or something else?.

Any suggestions my friends?...If u have same prob with me, what should i do?

had d same prob after i changed my absorber recently... sent my car to atan trial... kaotim... :driver::proud:

yes..i have the same problem too. but it is hard to rectify it because it occurs as they wish. somtime got sound somtime dont. dont realy get their pattern.

at the moment, ignore it. please share if u found smthing.

if u using adjustable, the sound maybe is caused by the 'seats' of the springs, if u get what i mean.

the area where the top mounting bolted on the body?

rnr303 and alias, how much your mileage when this prob appear?

not really that area, cos the body weight and the 3 holding-screw
is tight enough to hold it in place.

i'm refering to the area pointed by these 2 arrows in the below pic.

my car using tanabe suspension/tanabe spring not adjustable type...is it will be same prob using the adjustable type?

Firstly, what kind of sound is it? And it only happens when you are driving slowly?

A few things your mechanic should try doing, simply ones:
1. Tighten all the 3 top mount nuts that bolt the suspension to the top mount. Dont be surprised, this is all it could be. It is a very common occurance with double-wishbone suspension damper topmounts because they are engineered differently due to their non-load bearing design.
2. Jack up the car, try shake the tyre left and right and check for freeplay and sound. If there's a sound and freeplay, might be your steering rack rod and bearing. These need to be changed.
3. Also with the car jacked up, check for other freeplay. Kicked the tyres. If there is sound and movement, then it's your bushings, which would need to be replaced.
