Does anyone know of any workshop that:

a) has a load-bearing 4WD dyno that is properly calibrated
b) the operator actually knows how to use it i.e. speed, ramp.

Went to Speedworks JB and am looking for other options.

Links Power, Sunway...

:)
Hi ninja_iga,

If I'm not mistaken, Links is using Hyper Power dyno which is an inertia-type. Not what I'm looking for.

Any reason why u don't want to use an inertia dyno and must stick to brake dyno? Well, if in KL, most of the dynos here are load/brake type. I suppose all dyno operators should know how to run their own dyno. Whether it's 100% calibrated or not, perhaps only God knows :) I've dynoed in DMT Racing & N1 (both in Sunway, KL).

In JB, Vaz-Maz also have a dyno. Not sure what kind of dyno as I live in KL.

Hi taqu,

Need a load-bearing dyno for ECU tuning.

Any idea if those workshops you mentioned are 4WD-capable? What are the charges etc?

N1 dyno is a 4WD dyno, and although it's inertia type (Dynojet brand), I believe it also has a brake-loading device for tuning purposes (coz I saw the brakes there). I might be wrong though, u can enquire 'em directly, try http://www.dreammotor.com/n1racing/
