4G91 Gang..

tomorrow three of us surely kena kau kau la... post so many pages... haha... yong taiko, so my micro compressor still can keep right if i wanna install that nos thingie... oh ya by the way, i found out that when i on my aircon, the rpm will be lower than off the aircon... normally when on aircon, rpm wil rise a little bit right? so what is worng? or nothing?
 
yong these days u got any kang tau or not.??heheh how much does it cost to drill those disk pcd ah?

hahaha if i can do tat...then i will go to afew more website n learn..then i should b able to make N1 n all the sunway peformance shop close shop liow. its juz a referance for everyone to know when they wanna do pnp

looks like yong sleep alredy... lampakia sifu, ur car ISC got problem or not... sigh... i really very headache with it la... last time said replace then can settle, then now it become like change als ocan not... this and that... very no mood when c the rpm just drop like that...

I also face the ISC problem, and this is the third times i change it . Now try my best to calebrate it , hope can minizine it.
I check prevs few pages, that's have 3 screw on throttle body to calebrate AFR; but when I check back my throttle body, I found that are no screw ; furthermore there is only one hose which is printed with " P " connected to a black bottle.
so, should be cannot tune on it .
anyone know about it ?? pls advice.....
 
lampakia...actually i got those tools 2 do some minor porting 2 my intake port...just tat i'm lazy 2 take out the intake manifold...a lot of work...
so far me n lampakia still havent got any prob wit the ISC coz mayb our halfcut we bought very low mileage...
mine is 39k km onli when i bought n lampakia's is onli 20k+ km

I read a technical paper, the editor said that ISC will stand at 50k to 65k km only, after that, is time to change it liao ....
that's why even though we brought from chop shop, we also face the same problem after some time.

Did u guys know how much is the brand new ISC which is selling at spare part shop one ??
 
for them, they can purchase the ISC by online, but not suitable for us ,because of currency. since we have 4G93 on Malaysia, i think should have brand new from spare part shop right ?? anyone of u have a good deal with spare shop ?? can ask them or not ?? want to check the price :D

I will look for brand new one, dun want to waste time change this check there and tuning for everytime.
 
need help on transplant

hello bros... im in a headache for my engine transplant.. its a 1990 1.5 proton saga i would like 2 convert it to a 4g91...wat would will u all suggest carburetor or injection ? which will give me less headache ? since im still a student i would like to do everything at once so that i wont have 2 change one by one ?and since im a noob in this topic can i know the full words for ISC,SIDC and FIDC.. soryy for the noob questions...and wat all should i look into when buying the engine wat i should change in my car...gearbox n stuffz ? lastly i would like my car to be fuel saving and have normal power...thankz in advance for your replies.
 
yeah, i am thinking of buying the new one from spare part shop also... after reading so many posts, really feel that second hand is very risky...

cs2000, i know what they are but i don know how to explain... hehe... so other sifu will get the full review for u wan la.... don worry... many sifu here wan... :biggrin:

cs2000: I think u go to cabri is better , no need to mod in too many into ur car .
and no need to worry about ISC problem.

and i found that my read abosorbar got the "euk euk euk" sound
will it make my puspakom fail??

and my rear chamber adjusted to 1.1

scary lah! i take one day leave to go puspakom if fail i have to take another day leh (rugi leh)

by the way lancer taiko, how to tune AFR? reset ecu won work la... i try before. if wanna tune injection. how they gonna tune?

actualy if we want to tune ECU, we need handytools call Hi-Scan, MUT, and wat so ever. Some of workshop do not have goot MUT or Hi-Scan ting. 1 Hi-Scan coz about 1 new kancil. so almos all tuning workshop just have cheap MUT only. ill try to talk with my xbos if he can give a tune for 4g91. coz his hi-scan socket is for KIA (tiap engine nyer socket lain, tak tau la dia ader ke idak socket untuk mitsubishi)

im no taiko la... im still new with this ting maaa... oh btw, fogot to tell la... about AFR, ive read that we actualy can set AF mix every deg and RPM. so that when initial to start move, actualy its set a little rich. for cruising change to lean. then we going for max speed, they give more fuel. if not mistaken, in your ecu got isometry setting. it will set your fuel / air in defren RPM.

to set timing. i thing, u try tu set without turning off your micro compressor. coz normaly, setting will lari again when u usik that ting.

cam nie la... to those who want to be tune or check maybe can folo me to my workshop. maybe my bro can show/advise u what the best thing for yer engine. oh ya... ive ask him about labour changing 91 to 93 cam.

another thing. i can get Caltek Fully Syntetic for only RM98 eni wan want can calling me or pm me. thanks.
 
i DIY project over the weekend...
i took out my ISC switch with the intention to ruin it...so dat when i fix back my FICD there wont be any interuption fron my ISC... but when i dismantle it... i f wound the ISC dirty full with carbon deposits.. so i gif a try by cleaning it using a white greasy spray(like WD40) on to it... after cleaning it i install it back... start engine n suprisingly found dat my idling is much much stable then b4 n the engine vibration is much smoother(but problem not completely gone)... after dat i when change my fuel filter... now i feel the car my smoother during low rev n FC seems alil better... normally rm20 i can get 100km the max... but now rm20 already reach 140km with alil more petrol... tonite im gonna pump again and monitor if the FC has improve.... other then dat i think i wanna ask my previous mechanic who did engine convertion 4 to do MUT tuning 4me... he does MUT 4 a minimal charge... if it can solve the idling once and 4 all gud lar....if not haf to change complete TB wit ISC, no other way can solve this problem...
 
ha..ha.. yesterday buy & install Gzox digital speedmeter with warning light...very nice item..got many function...

test my car at medium load...
0-100 = 5.47 second
0-400 = 12.38 second

test my car on heavy load....
can go untill 199KM/h mybe more...coz cant wait to long coz when reach 199 depan ada polis...cheh..kacau betul...baru nak feel...

on light load...never try yet..later mybe...
 
waahhh... 0 -100km/h just 5.47 sec ?? very fast man ..:D

is ISC will affected idling?? even though we won't switch on the air con ??
actually my engine idling also very bad, engine have vibrate and sound like misfiring ... hmmmm....hhmmmm...pop...hmm.. .. dun know why . think really need to look foe oem brand new ISC liao .

use carb la bro.. .can join me... wakkakaka... im onli 1 4g91 carbie user here (from kl) another fren working in johor. like other forumer said, carburetor easy to maintain. but still hard to tune. like my ride. to get smooth but power. to many parameters need to set. as we know, normal carb only have 5 stage, but 4g91 carb have 6 or 7 stage. and every stage give big effect to peformance. (now im using normal 5 stage carburetor).

if u going for unlimited rev without any rev/speed limit, carburetor is your best choice. but if u're just going for drive and rembat and stop (tak nak check sendiri) i think better u choose injection. only sensors problem. but no need to be set frankly.
