vestax, may I know if the Apexi S-ITC can be used for the VR4? Will it make a difference?

I just booked a S-AFc from one of the forumers & was told that the S-Afc is used in conjunction with S-ITc would yield the best results.

Btw - out of curiosity what does VR4 stand for?

give some feedbacks after the try outs alright ? i would like to know the results .
Aiyo, i can't find that wire ur mentioning. Cause 61t the termostat wire is not near the radiator hos connected to the engine. Dunno where the wire is. Will check again later.

vestax, the petrol finally manage to enter the engine, earlier problem due to wiring.

Finally the engine can be started and I took it for an initial run without the exhaust installed.

Found the engine very loud and vibrates a lot... any idea why is this so? besides this, can't feel the turbo kick in ... I hope when it is fully installed it will be better, as I've tested the engine on the previous owner's car & it was running quieter & the power was there... donno why now it's not the same.

Those of u who are using VR4 on your wiras... does your engine sound loud & does it vibrate a lot?

The sound that I mention of... sounds like harley davidson motorbike!

sounds loud ? you mention that ur not runing on exhaust ma , direct come out from the turbo sure damn loud one la , like lorry sound . what vibrate the car or the engine ?.

everything also vibrate.. I can feel my dashboard and whole car vibrating like crazy... really hope this will be solved upon completion, otherwise how to drive...feels very uncomfortable. I can imagine being stuck at the traffic jam and my whole body shaking due to the vibration.

hmmm i also donno la what mountings are you using ? soild mountings or the rubber mountings ?. if solid then will have alot of vibration but rubber should not have vibration , maybe abit la .

the mountings look like black rubber and it feels soft to the touch.

update - engine vibration fixed, problem again due to wiring... since the vr4 wiring need to be mated to the 4G93 previous wiring. The other day can feel like the engine was misfiring.

Now.. just have to wait a few days before everything kowtim... keeping fingers crossed!

info : those who convert the 4G63 engine into your proton cars , will be using a rubber stopper to block the water lines cause we don't use the function so , our mechs block the lines using a stopper and clamps , i didn't notice it till today , cause a few weeks back i`ve been checking my radiator water always kurang one , then today i check check for leaks , i found out that the stopper almost poped out and there is a small leaks . so check that stopper from time to time . if your having problems with radiator comsuming water .

vestax, what brakes are you using for your front wheels?

For Vr4/Evo single/twin ports, I was told the PCD is 114 while the wira original PCD is 110 right? What kind of mods do you need of fit the Vr4/Evo brakes on? Is it reliable or any other recommendations?

im on the mirage disc with vr4 calipers and with my iswara knuckles , basically the mirage calipers are just the same as the vr4 . yea , mirage , vr4 , evo , gsr runs on 114.3 so what you need to do is , drill the vr4 disc to pcd 100 , any machine shop will do the work , cost is about 20 to 30 bucks , and then use back your standard proton knuckle .
