Wanna ask about this setup...
as i knew it could be use...
how reliable this setup...
in term of performance how??? pro n cons..
ratio??
appreciate ur knowledge lots...
 
Reliable? - so far no problem... about 150k mileage done...
Pro:
- more smooth on gear 2 to gear 3.
- rev more easy to climb especially gear 3-4-5
- can feel the car more light
- save FC
- drive shaft more easily to source as 4AFE shaft also can be use
- performance clutch and flywheel more easy to source
- starter more easy to source
- reduce weight

Con:
- Loose gear 1 & 2 acceleration pickup like supercharge gearbox can be done
- always have higher rev than c5x gearbox
- can't use 9" clutch system anymore
- starter also need to change

BTW I'm using 4AGZE with C160 and feel much better~
 
oic....erm..compare to 5speed...isit OK??? afraid lost the top at 5th gear esp when cruising on h.way...
 
what i know,wat ppl say from mouth to mouth lah.
c56 compared to e58,c56 can tarik longer.
c52 can tarik more longer.
duno true or not.
cos last time play wif 0-400 with 20v gear 3 they always can tarik longer than 4agze.
 
3zz bro, they can tarik longer coz they can rev higher. C56 ratio shorter then E58, how come it can tarik longer?

thinking of same Q here...
but i just wana use oni c52 gear box onto 4agze ....
 
C52 does come with LSD...some champion halfcuts even came with TRD/Kaaz/Cusco LSD :D
 
i think the term that should be used:
factory fitted, after market lsd, helical, mechanical

c58 final drive ratio is 3.9
c52/c56 FD is 4.3
never used c58 tho. sorry cant tell you any pro / cons
 
hi u all......me had a 4agze on my at151 and i'm using the C5x gearbox but dont know which type gearbox when i bought the clutch plate it is 8 1/2" triniti the sail it was local ae101 manual gearbox and it was fine with until now and dyno yesterday 2nd gear can go until 110 km/h and 3rd gear can go until 150km/h until boost 5th gear is until 210km/h @0.59 bar.....it this normal for ZE? coz i'm new in this,when i bought the car the gearbox was fit in it......
