Hai, I’m new with engine, especially the performance engine & parts. I’ve a several question about Toyota's 3TGTE engine. Can anyone story a bit about this engine. How ‘bout the horse power of this engine, spare part and the maintenance for it, the FC, engine oil ppl usually use, recommended wshop.. etc etc etc.?. Thank for ur help.

3TGTE came from 80' celica and carina for JDM market..1.8 liter,twin sparks,rear wheel drive..its produce 160hp (Not sure).
In malaysia this engine is not a popular upgrade.Many ppl refer for SR20DET or CA18 for RWD conversion..I know couple of classic celica club malaysia members use this engine for their celica..but need some modification to get more power..i know one mechanic can help you with this engine..pm me if you need info for the workshop..
