Guys,

I really need some sifu's advise here, I got a set of japan old 16' sport rim ( Hikari ), dont know anyone of you heard of this brand. I am having difficulty on find the wheel nuts with the nuts diameter of 18mm.

Questions.

Can i send the rim to some engineering shop and ask them to drill a wheel nuts hole to bigger size like 19mm of 20mm ?

Is there any disadvantage after i drill the hole to a bigger diameter ?

Please feel free to advise here.

Thanks
:burnout:

when they design such a rim, there must be a nut to fit in.

u cannot drill the wheel nut hole for sure, it will reduce ur wheel lifespan n its whole structure.

just my 2cent

santory,
Have you tried searching the net for your rims and see what info you can find? I bet not. haha

huakenny - I am not trying to drill the hole to a 2 - 3 mm wider. just 1 mm wider and i can fit the normal screw. Does it really shorten the lifespan by just 1 mm ?? pls advise.

satria_95 - Bro thanks for the tips. I did search the info of the rim. The manufacture already Tutup kedai.

Oh shucks, sorry dude. Maybe the rims are old, and so are the owners of the rim manufacturers. hehe So they retire their business also. hehehe
