264 cam for evo 3

Hi guys...just wanna ask ..can we still get 264degree cam for evo 3 in malaysia, becoz most of the place selling minimum 272 degrees only, I heard 264 is better idling and for daily use.

Hi Bro,

Here is actually quite difficult to find off the shelf 264 spec cams unless you need to order it from overseas. Even the old HKS ones are minimum 272s and not the 26x ones.

Will the 272 spec good for the daily drive ?...how bout idle and power band if tuned with emanage, and will it have good power in the lower rpm ...there's a good deal for duratech 272 spec cam with 10.8 lift around rm2300 including valve springs

Not sure on the Duratech but the HKS 272s, the low end might be sacrificed a little bit (which I think could be minimized via tuning) but the mid and high end brings out more punch. Make sure to dial in the camshafts to the correct manufacturer spec before tuning as it saves time adjusting
