2005 Toyota Vios Call Back For Ball Joint Inspection?

Hi bros out there, anyone of u got the letter frm UMW Toyota to send back your VIOS for ball joint inspection?

I suspected that this is the practice of calling back the badge of production which has defective parts fitted onto it. In this case I believe year 2005 VIOS (October - December) has suffered ball joint problem that prompted them to call back the cars for inspection.

Due to that, my VIOS front alignment can never be fix and always swerve to the left since the day I've got it!

The service center can never help on this too! To get the service appointment is even worst!

I wonder how is the situation out there with u guys that own the VIOS too?!

Better U Go To Umw Toyota Wedside To Complian ........
Then Only The Hq People Will Know About It......
If Not................ The Hq People Is So Free....... Must Let Them Know .....
The Sale N Service Centre Are Very Busy One..................
So Far That's No Any Reported Case Occur.

check the sign, the alignment normally goes to the left and it always 'makan' tayar on the left!

Complaint before but they never bother to fix it. Always tell me it's normal to get misalignment afer travelling a while...sick...they think tyres are cheap to come by...

bro...ME-AM...ur vios got alignment prob?

1.wat size of rims u using? std or 16"?
2.which service center u have been b4?..did u try sg rasau branch?

btw normally appointment need 2 weeks..so for dis case u can take ur letter n walk in ...preferable sg rasau branch...without any appointment.....so feel free 2 visit ther....2 solve ur prob...

my wife's vios got the letter & her vios is 1st batch which is on June 2003.toyota ask her to send the vios back for lower arm screw inspection,they claimed tat the screw might not properly tighten up.

done the inspection last 2 Saturday & of course FOC
