with regards to the convoy, maybe all of us can meet at 8am at the shell station just after the sg besi toll...it will give us some time to put on the sponsors stickers etc before we convoy to melaka...maybe somene who knows the way there can lead us...any volunteers??

Well, it's actually pretty straight forward from the tol. Just go along until you hit the ayer keroh tol. Look out for the exit once you pass the R&R ayer keroh (the jetantas one with KFC) as you will be near the exit. I suppose arrangement can be made to get someone to wait at the exit.

as of my understanding.... sponsors we got

1) magnetic thingy (dev will brief later)
2) michelin
3) Mutiara

i think dev has more under his sleeve.... we'll finalise everything and give a list out.. we're thinking getting one of our sponsors to print stickers... and we consolidate all sponsors into the sticker... will update more when everything firmed.

Dont worry about the parking at MITC, as i said it can fit hundreds of cars. But i have some problem with the parking in Equatorial Hotel. Will take a day off and try sort everything up tomoro.

Hehehe, worse case all the 7s and 8s park in equatorial. The other park in hatten square (going up and down the ramp might be a bit scary for cars with low clearance though)

okay.. for this trip.... i believe the convoy will have more than 25 cars coming down from KL...
to cut things short.. there are a few very important safety rules

1. obey the 4 to 5 seconds apart rule.
2. as the speed climb the time apart MUST be larger to compensate emergency braking
3. refrain driving more than 160KM/h 4. exit at ayer keroh, all must keep left or center lane 2KM before the exit.
5. DO NOT STOP AT ROAD SHOULDER except going to R&R for toilet break
6. DO NOT DRIVE SIDE BY SIDE trying to communicate with the car beside or initiate a race on the highway
7. Overtaking :
7.1 do not change lanes suddenly, just incase behind there's someone boosting while over taking. he will ramp you from behind.
7.2 when over taking and unable to find a slot to go back in, over take the leader. and the leader should find his way to gain his position again.
7.3 do not overtake the leader if unnecessary
7.4 use the blardy signals when changing lanes
8. not necessary to queue up in a single line. it's okay to occupy all 3 lanes... and ensure safety level at all time high.

Guys, we will meet just after the Sg Besi toll at 8am on Sunday. It will be at the Shell station just after the toll. By meeting after the toll we will not have any delays once we start the convoy. Engines start at 8.30 so please be there by then. If you are late or are delayed please call me or CB and let us know so we can wait for you.
