Beware and dun stick too near to the car infront when entering Smart Tag...
Last two day I am in a hurry that wanna to get my ass back home...
There is a Toyota Mark X infront of me when I m entering Smart Tag at toll booth...

F**k man.. that stupid fellow do not have smart tag and then go inside smart tag lane to wait for people that have it and pass it for free....

Becareful.. once he is pass and u are at the back... the stick will close down when u pass half way....thank god my car got nothing....

That's nothing. One joker in a Mitsu Storm went to the Plus Tag lane but realised he was in the wrong lane. I was too close behind him. Without looking behind, he reversed his fat ass Mitsu Storm into my bumper and bonnet. I couldn't react in time. Lesson learnt.

Another thing about Smart Tag lanes.

Most people assume the barrier arm/stick works all the time.

It does not. Don't assume anything.

I was once in the car driven by one of our Company's driver at the N-S Highway tollgate going into Ipoh from KL. The guy always drive a little too recklessly for my liking....impatient...heavy right foot, cutting in and out of traffic. He went past the sensor, heard the *beep* and expect the barrier to flip up for him quickly like usual, so he did not really slow down. He just step on the gas after the *beep*.

The barrier did not work. It remained down. We damn near had our heads chopped off as the guy screeched to a halt with the barrier an inch or so away from windscreen. You should have heard the foul language that came out of my mouth at that moment. I fired the guy a couple weeks later. Hard to get good help.

FVel: btw, i doubt that barrier could chop your heads off as 1 of my friend ran through it before. its quite soft really.. kinda like a hollow plastic pipe... but im not giving ppl motivation to try it out. just an experience i'd like to share.
