I think if Geely bothers to save Proton (I doubt it lah, like MAS the good CEO will leave because hands tied). We may see a real competitor from Proton. A cheaper cross breed bastard child of Lotus + Volvo. A new Proton Satria GTi

Or Geely may abandon Proton after taking full control of Lotus and leave it to die. That’s what I’d do as a business man. Why inject money to save cronies.
