Yeah it's supposed to compete with PS4S but PS4S overall still better in most tests especially in the dry while this ECS might be better in the wet.



Yeah mentioned relatively a bit understeery, but it's still selected again in the 2019.

The ECS sounds like a viable alternative to PS4. If it’s like 30% cheaper it’s a no brainer.

I’ll observe these FK510 and see if it’s the best bargain for the price.

Definitely can't be 30% cheaper, at best just around 5-10% cheaper. It's still premium brand made in Europe.

Then its really a toss up between the ECS and PS4 at such close pricing.

Oh well, I heard the tread wear on this FK510 isn't fantastic. Gonna observe how well it wears. If it wears fast then maybe PS4 more worth it as that one has pretty good wear.

CSC5 was excellent! Probably better than F1A2/3.

Actually forget about the price.

1. It's more noisy than non run flats
2. The ride is hasher
3. The run flat tires is heavier than non run flat, more unsprung weight (this is damn obvious for me)

Have to be able to hold the cars weight without air, therefore construction structure have to be stronger, thicker and becomes heavier.....lol

The MD of my employer had a mid size BMW SUV with run flats. Got one time he needed to go for a meeting in KL with another director, he ask the driver to took the C class company car (issued to the director) as he could not tolerate the harsh ride of his BMW on run flats.

My friend's mom 3 series came with Runflats too. Next change of tyres use normal tyres, then carry repair kit. just in case......lol

Seems like not many dealers. Glenmarie is Stamford Tyres I think they sure quote full retail price no discount.

Stamford is Falken distributor, sure full price. You can try Oscar Tyre or OS Autocare which are near each other in Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam. What is wrong with Hup Shun, I am still getting good price from there too....
